Jolly O Gymkhana (2024) is a Tamil black comedy directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. The film centers on Bhavani (Madonna Sebastian) and her family, who operate the Vellaikkaran Biriyani Hotel in Meignanapuram. Facing financial hardships due to a new bypass road diverting customers, they accept a large catering order from MLA Adaikalaraj without an advance payment. However, upon seeking payment, they are met with violence, leaving Bhavani’s grandfather hospitalized and in need of costly surgery. In their quest for funds, they cross paths with lawyer Poongundran (Prabhu Deva), who is investigating Adaikalaraj’s fraudulent activities.

After Poongundran is poisoned by a contract killer hired by Adaikalaraj, Bhavani’s family inadvertently becomes entangled with his corpse. They devise a plan to use the deceased lawyer’s identity to access ₹10 crore from his bank account, leading to a series of comedic and chaotic events as they navigate challenges from politicians, assassins, and law enforcement.
